Ecological conversion is high on the agenda of Catholic schools. Work towards ecological conversion and leading on from the Catholic Education Conference ‘Listening to the Voice of Creation’, students and key teachers attended a forum on ecological conversion with Dr Paul Clarke on Friday 17 October.
Just a reminder that applications for an academic scholarship are due to the Australian Council for Educational Research (ACER) by Tuesday 20th January for Year 7 and 8 in 2016.

A celebratory campus assembly was attended by the founding Principals Bert Michels, Our Lady of Hope and Steve Portlock, Greenwith Primary. The current Principals, Mr Kevin Blake for Our Lady of Hope and Mr Rick Bennallack for Greenwith were also in attendance.
Along with Catholic schools in South Australia the Catholic Education Office was treated to a delicious morning tea to celebrate the contribution that teachers and other staff make in the lives of children.
St Patrick’s Technical College has received a commendation from the National Growth Areas Alliance (NGAA) during their Growth that Works congress held in Adelaide this month. The specialist trades and technical College, operated by Catholic Education SA, was recognised for ‘Developing Apprenticeship Skills in Northern Adelaide’.
International Masterchef is a long-standing team challenge extracurricular cooking competition open to students from all year levels. It is just one way in which our International students can share their culinary and cultural heritage with their new Australian community at OLSH.
