Grievance, Compliment or Suggestion

If you have a grievance, compliment or suggestion about any aspect of our school services, please let us know. You can contact us in person, by email, by telephone or by using this form.

The information you provide will be used by the Catholic Education Office to facilitate assistance or a response as required.

If raising a grievance or complaint, you are encouraged in the first instance to raise your concerns with the relevant school principal, deputy principal, year level co-ordinator or teacher.

Information for parents, carers and the community

Catholic Schools and Catholic Education Offices (CEO) will make every effort to resolve legitimate grievances/complaints, based on their merits, using a consistent, impartial, respectful and confidential process that achieves resolution in a timely manner.

  • We will respond to your initial contact within 3 working days.
  • Treat you with dignity and respect and maintain confidentiality to the extent that is possible.
  • Work with you and the school to reach a resolution where possible.

The grievance/complaints response and resolution process will seek to achieve the restoration of positive and respectful relationships.

  • You have the right to be heard and to expect procedural fairness and natural justice;
  • Are encouraged to speak to the relevant staff member in the first instance;
  • Are expected to act in good faith and work with the school or CEO with respect and openness to achieve an outcome acceptable to all parties;
  • To provide us with the fullest information possible;
  • Work with us and the school to reach a resolution where possible.
Please note: schools and individuals may be informed of formal complaints made about them.
