Literacy Coach
The primary function of a Literacy Coach is to work in consultation with the Director of Teaching and Learning to build the capacity of all staff to teach literacy. In addition, the Literacy Coach works to implement literacy initiatives to improve student outcomes at Champagnat Campus.
The work of the Literacy Coach is underpinned by the following four statements:
The Literacy Coach also works to implement literacy initiatives to improve student outcomes, as measured by Year 9 NAPLAN. The Literacy Coach collaborates with Champagnat Leadership Team (CLT) to develop and review annual literacy targets.
