Catholic Schools
Open Week
August 4-10
Catholic Schools Open Week is back for 2025 – and it’s your invitation to explore what makes Catholic education such a meaningful choice for your child.
From 4–10 August, Catholic schools across South Australia will welcome families for tours, open days and special events – offering a firsthand look at how students are nurtured to learn, grow and flourish in vibrant, faith-filled communities.
Whether you’re enrolling your first child in school or thinking about a change for the next chapter in their education, Open Week is the perfect time to explore your local Catholic school.
“Catholic Schools Open Week is an invitation for families to connect with their local Catholic school community and see how a Catholic education can support their child’s learning, faith formation, and wellbeing,” says Dr Neil McGoran, Executive Director, Catholic Education South Australia.
With more than 70 school events planned across metro, regional and rural areas, there are many ways for families to get involved. From early years through to primary and secondary schools, you’ll be able to meet teachers and students, explore learning spaces and experience the welcoming environment that Catholic schools are known for.
To support the week, CESA has launched a major state-wide campaign – showcasing the real faces of Catholic education. Over 170 students from schools around the state, including one-third from regional areas, feature in this year’s campaign, appearing on billboards, bus shelters, the backs of buses, radio and digital platforms throughout July and August.
