The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity seeking an Administration Officer: Leadership and Workforce Development to join our team in a permanent, part-time capacity, initially working 2 days per week (0.4FTE) with an increase to 3-4 days per week (0.7FTE) from 2026. This role will be based at the Catholic Education Office

As a valued member of the Leadership and Workforce Development team, within the People, Leadership and Culture section. You’ll support our mission by providing high-quality administrative support to the Leadership and Workforce Development team – helping us grow and strengthen leadership across Catholic Education South Australia (CESA).

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-level administrative and technology support to the Teacher Workforce and Development Advisers
  • Manage coordination and record-keeping for the HALT and pre-service Teacher Scholarship programs
  • Maintain and update intranet content related to Early Career Teachers and HALT programs
  • Respond to intake enquiries and manage sensitive information with discretion
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders – including school leaders, teachers, and university contacts

About You:

  • Extensive experience in providing senior administrative support, in an education setting would be advantageous
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail
  • Confident in managing multiple priorities and working autonomously in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven ability to handle sensitive matters with professionalism, sound judgment, and confidentiality
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant qualification in business administration or similar
