St Augustine's Parish School

Role Description:

  • Actively support and demonstrate a commitment to the vision of St Augustine's Parish School
  • Actively support and promote our Catholic Identity and effectively plan an engaging Religious Education program
  • Be highly skilled at designing learning and assessment aligned with the Australian Curriculum
  • Give examples of recent professional learning and its impact on teaching practice
  • Have a knowledge of and illustrate strategies that enable children to self-regulate, feel safe and participate successfully at school
  • Be able to work successfully in a high functioning team of educators, sharing professional innovation for improved outcomes for all learners

The successful candidate will need:

  • Working With Children Check / Catholic Clearance
  • Full Day (7 hour) Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect – Education and Care (RRHAN-EC) training
  • RRHAN-EC update (where applicable)
  • First Aid Training

  • Teachers Registration Certificate (certified copy)
  • A response addressing each of the Role Details criterion as headings (4 pages)
  • Curriculum Vitae including the names of three current referees, one of whom needs to be your current or most recent Principal (3 pages) - please include both the business and home or mobile phone contact for referees
