Role Details

Christ the King School is a growing community seeking enthusiastic Education Support Officers to join our team. We are offering a one-year contract, commencing in Term 4, 2025, for 30 hours per week from 8:45am - 3:15pm over 40 school term weeks. The successful applicant will become part of a dedicated team of educators and co-educators, working collaboratively to provide personalised support and contribute to high-quality teaching and learning programs. Together, we aim to create a nurturing environment where every student has the opportunity to thrive.

Key Responsibilities

  • Actively support and contribute to the Catholic ethos of our school
  • Have the ability to work collaboratively with teachers to support students with high needs in their learning and to work as part of our ESO Curriculum Team
  • Participate in the evaluation of programs and student involvement and document student progress/behaviour in SEQTA as directed.
  • Supervise and care for students with formally identified special needs including support for individual students or groups of students in accordance with Personalised Plans for Learning (PPL) as required
  • Ability to independently coordinate and run extra-curricular programs
  • Provide yard duty support to teachers in accordance with school procedures.

Additional Information

The successful candidate will be required to undergo our screening process, which includes a Working with Children Check, E-Screen, Applicant Declaration Form, First Aid Certificate and RRHAN.
