The College invites applications for a permanent Teacher of Mathematics commencing January 2026 from passionate and innovative educators who can demonstrate contemporary pedagogical practices to join our vibrant community and team of professionals.

The Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated educator who can teach Mathematics across all year levels and abilities, fostering a love of learning and supporting students to reach their full potential. The ideal candidate will embrace the Jesuit ethos, be committed to academic excellence, holistic development, and the care of each individual student.   • Permanent Teacher of Mathematics to commence 2026 (1.0 FTE)

The ability to teach in another curriculum area would be desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake the duties relating to the teaching of mixed ability classes.
  • Be on the creative edge of developments in education and curriculum.
  • Be proactive regarding educational initiatives within curriculum area.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the workings of the Australian Curriculum and its application to the designated subject area.
  • Enhance students’ learning with a variety of methodologies.
  • Provide students with positive feedback on performance that reinforces student achievement and focuses on improvement.
  • Be able to work with our Learning Management System, SEQTA.

The successful candidate will:

  • Be an engaging educator who prides themselves on being an effective communicator who can build meaningful relationships with students, peers and parents. 
  • Be a current registered teacher with the Teachers Registration Board of South Australia (TRBSA).
  • Have academic qualifications in the appropriate subject area.
  • Possess or be willing to obtain, First Aid Certificate (HLTAID012), and complete Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect – Education and Care training.
  • Have a current Working with Children Check.
  • Support and attend College activities as required.
  • Be flexible and adaptable in their approach to work practices and management strategies.
  • Have an affinity with, and preparedness to support the Catholic ethos and Ignatian charism of the College.
