Role Details

Xavier College is seeking a professional and dedicated individual to join our Two Wells R–10 Campus as a Front Office Administrator. Reporting to the Administrative Officer and Head of Campus – Two Wells, this role is critical to the smooth day-to-day operations of the front office and wider campus community.

This is a permanent, part-time position (11.30am until 4.30pm, Monday to Friday) during school weeks only (40 weeks per year).

As Front Office Administrator you will:

  • Greet visitors, parents/caregivers, students and the wider community in a warm and professional manner.
  • Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries, directing calls to the appropriate individual.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries.
  • Provide administrative support to staff as needed.
  • Be the designated First Aid Officer, providing timely first aid assistance for students and staff.
  • Maintain appropriate First Aid facilities and accurate First Aid records including confidential, accurate and current Medical Emergency Plans for students.
  • Assist the Front Office administration team with maintain appropriate First Aid facilities and accurate First Aid records including confidentiality, accuracy, and currency of Medical Emergency Plans for students.

About You

The successful candidate will hold strong administrative skill and be customer service focus. This position requires someone with excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage a varied workload effectively. Previous experience engaging with a diverse range of people in a warm, professional manner is essential. The successful candidate will have previous experience in handling a wide range of administrative tasks and maintaining accurate records and processes.

To be successful, you will need:

  • A Certificate III in Administration or Business (or equivalent) and/or relevant demonstrated knowledge and experience in a comparable role.
  • Experience working in a school setting is highly desirable
  • Current and acceptable Working with Children Clearance and screening to work in Catholic Education SA
  • Current Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse & Neglect – Education and Care certificate
  • First Aid certificate (HLTAID012)
  • Possess enthusiasm, professionalism, and a strong sense of community
  • Previous experience using QKR & CIVICA system is desirable.
