Role Details

St Mary’s Memorial School is seeking a dedicated Education Support Officer - Curriculum to join our team.

This role involves working under the direction of classroom teachers to provide targeted support to students with a range of learning needs. The successful applicant will work collaboratively with the Principal, Leadership Team and fellow Education Support Officers to contribute to a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

We are seeking applicants who demonstrate a genuine commitment to student wellbeing, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

The successful applicants will: 

  • Actively support and contribute to the Catholic ethos of the school
  • Hold a Cert III or IV in Education Support (or currently studying)
  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Use a range of initiatives to engage children including those with additional needs, in Reception to Year 6 with learning
  • Demonstrate knowledge and assist student learning by applying a range of strategies to ensure a safe, orderly and successful learning environment 
  • Nurture a positive culture for wellbeing and inclusivity
