The Opportunity

We have an exciting, full-time, permanent opportunity for a Speech Pathologist to join an expanding new team within the Catholic Education Office.

The CESA Inclusive Learning Through Allied Health (CILAH) program delivers allied health services in occupational therapy, speech pathology, and psychology working with students, families, and education staff within our schools.

Allied health professionals in the CILAH program focus on providing support most likely to assist in reducing challenges students with disability face from learning, speech and language, behaviour and regulation, and social-emotional wellbeing.

As a Senior Allied Health Professional in the discipline of Speech Pathology, you have the opportunity to contribute to this exciting initiative by working with other allied health professionals in delivering models, establishing clinical governance frameworks and developing key stakeholder engagement strategies.

The  Senior Allied Health Professional – Speech Pathology position is for experienced professionals who can apply specialised knowledge with depth in several areas.

  • Develops and expands the more complex clinical, professional and discipline-specific skills and knowledge relevant to the service setting.
  • Demonstrates a commitment to continuing professional development and contributes to workplace education.
  • The role is increasingly actively involved in quality improvement activities or research.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Speech Pathology.
  • Registration/certification with the relevant professional regulatory/oversight body: Speech Pathology Australia.

Outcome Driven: You are committed to achieving goals and meeting key performance indicators, ensuring the CILAH program contributes positively to CESA’s objectives.
