Role Details

St Pius X is seeking dedicated and passionate teachers who can build a positive, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment that supports every student. We have multiple full-time permanent roles available R-6. Part time applications will be considered. 

About You

Current South Australian Teacher’s Registration (or willing to obtain)

  • A willingness to support the Catholic ethos of St Pius X School.
  • A high level of emotional intelligence with an ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with students, parents and colleagues.
  • A commitment to ongoing learning and improvement.
  • A strong focus on wellbeing and the ability to nurture a positive classroom environment.
  • A commitment to implementing our school wide teaching pedagogies which are inclusive, innovative and evidence based.
  • A love of working with children and other educators to drive excellence in all areas of learning and wellbeing.

Qualifications and Training:

  • South Australian Teacher Registration
  • RRHAN-EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect – Education and Care) Certificate
  • WWCC - Working with Children Check
  • First Aid Certificate
