Role Details

✨ Are you a warm, highly organised, and proactive professional who thrives in a dynamic school environment? Our Lady of La Vang is seeking an exceptional Office Administrator to be the welcoming face and organisational backbone of our school front office.

As the first point of contact for students, families, staff, and visitors, your role will be integral to the smooth daily operations of the school. This is a rewarding opportunity to work in a values-driven Catholic educational setting, supporting the needs of a diverse and inclusive school community.

About the role:
🔹 Reporting to the Principal (or delegate), the Office Administrator will:

  • Manage the front office with a strong focus on professionalism and customer service.
  • Provide high-level administrative support to school leaders and staff.
  • Coordinate meetings, take minutes, maintain calendars, and handle confidential documentation.
  • Support enrolment processes and liaise with prospective families.
  • Maintain accurate student including attendance and medical data.
  • Assist in school communications including newsletters, social media and website updates.
  • Organise school events and parent engagement activities.
  • Act as First Aid Officer and ensure compliance with relevant procedures.


About You

✨ You will bring:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a positive and welcoming manner.
  • Proven experience in a school or high-paced office environment.
  • Excellent organisation, time management, and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and school data systems (e.g., CIVICA, SEQTA, or similar).
  • Ability to manage confidential information with integrity and discretion.
  • Confidence to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
  • Current First Aid qualification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Working with Children Check and current Catholic clearance (or willingness to obtain).
