  • FTE 0.8 – 1.0 across 5 days | Teaching Year 7 – 10 and includes a Year 10 Home Group

As we shape this cutting-edge space, we’re searching for a passionate Digital Technologies Teacher to lead our students into the world of Industry 4.0 and 5.0.

 

What you’ll do

  • Bring the future into the classroom: Deliver immersive learning experiences that integrate 3D printing, coding, robotics, AI concepts, and virtual/augmented reality.
  • Ignite curiosity: Empower students to develop critical and creative thinking through real-world digital projects and challenges.
  • Champion innovation: Collaborate on shaping and activating our brand-new Innovation Hub — a future-focused space for design, tech, and entrepreneurship.
  • Go beyond the classroom: Support the College’s vision of digital fluency by embedding technology across curriculum and the College.
  • Lead the way: Stay ahead of emerging technologies and pedagogical practices to ensure our students graduate future-ready.

 

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Is a qualified and innovative teacher of Digital Technologies.
  • Has experience (or deep enthusiasm) for robotics, coding (e.g., Python, JavaScript), 3D modelling/printing, and XR technologies (VR/AR).
  • Understands Industry 4.0/5.0 principles and can translate them into meaningful, engaging student learning.
  • Embraces design thinking, future learning pedagogies, and student-led inquiry.
  • Thrives on collaboration, creativity, and inspiring students to push boundaries.

Catholic Education South Australia has announced the first of multiple new Early Learning Centres (ELCs) to be delivered through a major partnership with Accord and Eden Academy.

The first ELC, co-located at Xavier College Two Wells, which will be known as Eden Grove is expected to open in Term 3, 2026. The $4 million purpose-built centre will cater for 141 children, offering care and learning from six weeks to five years of age. An additional Eden Grove ELC will open at Xavier College Riverlea Park in 2027.
