This is an exciting, full-time, permanent, opportunity to join an expanding new team within the Catholic Education Office.
The CESA Inclusive Learning Through Allied Health (CILAH) program delivers allied health services in occupational therapy, speech pathology, and psychology working with students, families, and education staff within our schools.
Allied health professionals in the CILAH program focus on providing support most likely to assist in reducing challenges students with disability face from learning, speech and language, behaviour and regulation, and social-emotional wellbeing.
As the Lead AHP for ASD Assessments, you have the opportunity to contribute to this exciting initiative by working with other allied health professional in delivering models, establishing clinical governance frameworks and developing key stakeholder engagement strategies.
As the Senior Allied Health Professional – ASD Assessment Lead position, you will:

The successful applicant will demonstrate the following:
Enthusiastic Leader: You are enthusiastic about training and mentoring allied health professionals, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
Passion for Inclusive Education: You are dedicated to improving learning and wellbeing outcomes for students, particularly those with disabilities, and have a deep understanding of the challenges they face.
Experienced Practitioner: you have significant experience in allied health, particularly in Autistic Spectrum Disorders, with a strong clinical background in your discipline.
Effective Teaching and Mentoring: you have a proven ability to teach and mentor people in the area of ASD assessments.
Outcome Driven: You are committed to achieving goals and meeting key performance indicators, ensuring the CILAH program contributes positively to CESA’s objectives.

Catholic Education South Australia (CESA) has welcomed the State Government’s decision to continue its funding commitment to non-government schools through to 2034, following the finalisation of the Better and Fairer Schools Agreement with the Federal Government.
Catholic Education South Australia has announced the first of multiple new Early Learning Centres (ELCs) to be delivered through a major partnership with Accord and Eden Academy.
The first ELC, co-located at Xavier College Two Wells, which will be known as Eden Grove is expected to open in Term 3, 2026. The $4 million purpose-built centre will cater for 141 children, offering care and learning from six weeks to five years of age. An additional Eden Grove ELC will open at Xavier College Riverlea Park in 2027.
