The Opportunity
We are seeking a reliable, proactive, and organised individual to join our team as a Food Technology Education Support Officer (ESO). This role plays a vital part in supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the Food Technology Department and St Mary’s College Coffee Cart.
Working closely with the Technology Learning Area Leader and Food Technology teachers, you will assist with a range of tasks including food preparation support, ordering and stock management, student supervision, and general cleaning. You’ll also support students in-class and help maintain a positive and efficient learning environment
This is a hands-on and varied role, ideal for someone who enjoys working as part of a team, has a passion for supporting student learning, and takes pride in keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes.
The hours for this role will be Monday to Friday 8:30am – 3:30pm during the school term.

Relevant clearances to work in an educational setting including Working with Children Check are essential.

Catholic Education South Australia (CESA) has welcomed the State Government’s decision to continue its funding commitment to non-government schools through to 2034, following the finalisation of the Better and Fairer Schools Agreement with the Federal Government.
Catholic Education South Australia has announced the first of multiple new Early Learning Centres (ELCs) to be delivered through a major partnership with Accord and Eden Academy.
The first ELC, co-located at Xavier College Two Wells, which will be known as Eden Grove is expected to open in Term 3, 2026. The $4 million purpose-built centre will cater for 141 children, offering care and learning from six weeks to five years of age. An additional Eden Grove ELC will open at Xavier College Riverlea Park in 2027.
