Role Details

  • Actively support and contribute to the Catholic identity and faith formation of students, staff and families at Emmaus Catholic School.
  • Demonstrate the ability to plan, teach, assess and report on a high-quality Music program relevant and engaging for students in an R-6 setting.
  • Possess effective communication & interpersonal skills to collaborate with colleagues, students & parents to develop positive and inclusive relationships.
  • Promote a culture of learning both in and out of the classroom and show a commitment to personal and collective professional learning.
  • Demonstrate a passion for community and a willingness and capacity to contribute to the Emmaus Catholic School community.
  • Coordinate and lead the Festival Choir. Organise and lead a variety of performances, eg Assemblies throughout the year, Music Soiree, Carols Night.

 

The successful applicant will be required to provide: 

  • Teachers Registration Certificate
  • Music Qualification
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Working WIth Children's Check
  • Catholic Clearance (if available)
  • Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education and Care

Additional Information

  • The successful applicant must possess appropriate music qualifications in addition to teaching qualification.

Catholic Education South Australia has announced the first of multiple new Early Learning Centres (ELCs) to be delivered through a major partnership with Accord and Eden Academy.

The first ELC, co-located at Xavier College Two Wells, which will be known as Eden Grove is expected to open in Term 3, 2026. The $4 million purpose-built centre will cater for 141 children, offering care and learning from six weeks to five years of age. An additional Eden Grove ELC will open at Xavier College Riverlea Park in 2027.
