Role Details

St Francis school offers an opportunity for a motivated co-educator to join our team for terms 3 and 4 -  2025, applicants will be required to;

  • Support the Catholic ethos of St Francis School
  • Work in collaboration with teachers, co-educators and allied health simultaneously as part of the school’s support programs
  • Have experience in providing Tier 3 intervention in literacy and numeracy
  • Provide supervision and care for all students, including those with identified special needs, complex behaviours and aligned with Personalised Plans for Learning (PPL)
  • Assist with physical care requirements for students needing specific care
  • Actively participate in school activities, staff meetings, and professional development
  • Use restorative practices and processes to resolve conflict situations
  • Undertake other duties as directed by the Principal or delegate

     

Additional Information

We are seeking a high performing and experienced Education Support Officer who displays an understanding of children’s learning and development, and has experience working as part of a team of educators. The successful applicant will be responsible to the Principal or delegate.

To be considered for the role, it is essential the applicant holds either a Certificate 3 or Certificate 4 in Education Support. Additionally, you will undergo our required screening processes and have completed or be willing to complete Continence Care training.

Catholic Education South Australia has announced the first of multiple new Early Learning Centres (ELCs) to be delivered through a major partnership with Accord and Eden Academy.

The first ELC, co-located at Xavier College Two Wells, which will be known as Eden Grove is expected to open in Term 3, 2026. The $4 million purpose-built centre will cater for 141 children, offering care and learning from six weeks to five years of age. An additional Eden Grove ELC will open at Xavier College Riverlea Park in 2027.
