Role Details

The Opportunity

Caritas College has an exciting opportunity for an Education Support Officer to join our vibrant school community.  Education Support Officers play a vital role in supporting Teachers and fostering a positive learning environment for students.

This position is permanent part-time working Monday to Friday 8.55am - 3.00pm.

Your Responsibilities

We are seeking an enthusiastic Educator who will demonstrate an ability to:

  • Supervise and care for students with formally identified special needs, following Personalised Plans for Learning (PPL)
  • Assist students in small groups and one-on-one settings to support learning across all curriculum areas
  • Assist in maintaining a positive and respectful classroom environment
  • Provide instruction to students within the learning environment

Catholic Education South Australia has announced the first of multiple new Early Learning Centres (ELCs) to be delivered through a major partnership with Accord and Eden Academy.

The first ELC, co-located at Xavier College Two Wells, which will be known as Eden Grove is expected to open in Term 3, 2026. The $4 million purpose-built centre will cater for 141 children, offering care and learning from six weeks to five years of age. An additional Eden Grove ELC will open at Xavier College Riverlea Park in 2027.
