Role Details

Christ the King School is looking for a Primary Teacher, for a 1.0FTE, full time contracted position commencing 21 July 2025 until 26 September 202. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with leaders, colleagues, parents/caregivers and others as applicable to facilitate positive learning by students and engage in educational reform. The teacher will:

• Actively commit to uphold and contribute to the ethos of Catholic schools in general as well as that of Christ the King School.
• Address students’ varying intellectual, emotional and physical abilities in teaching practice
• Establish positive and effective relationships with students 
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of student progress and achievement
• Demonstrate effective communication skills with students, colleagues, parents/caregivers and others at all times

About You:

• Actively support and contribute to Catholic identity and faith formation at Christ the King School.
• Demonstrate a deep knowledge and understanding of the Australian Curriculum, and highly developed skills using contemporary, innovative and inclusive pedagogies, to support quality learning in the Primary Years, including an explicit approach to literacy instruction.
• Be able to effectively differentiate teaching and classroom practices in order to support learners with diverse academic, social and emotional needs.
• Demonstrate an ability to work collaboratively and develop positive relationships with staff, students and families

The successful applicant will be required to provide 

• Teachers Registration Certificate
• RRHAN-EC Certificate
• Working with Children’s Clearance
• First Aid Certificate / CPR Certificate
• Keeping Safe: Child Protection Curriculum Training Certificate (if available)
• Catholic Clearance (if available)
