St Joseph's School is looking for a Junior Primary Teacher, for a 1.0FTE, full time replacement position commencing 21 July 2025 until 12 December 2025. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with leaders, colleagues, parents/caregivers and others as applicable to facilitate positive learning by students and engage in educational reform. The teacher will: 

The Opportunity 

• Actively commit to uphold and contribute to the ethos of Catholic schools in general as well as that of St Joseph's School.
• Address students’ varying intellectual, emotional and physical abilities in teaching practice
• Establish positive and effective relationships with students 
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of student progress and achievement
• Demonstrate effective communication skills with students, colleagues, parents/caregivers and others at all times

Role Description Criterion

• Actively support and contribute to the Catholic identity and Josephite ethos of our school
• Demonstrate a sound knowledge of contemporary curriculum pedagogy to enable best practice and quality outcomes for students
• Have highly developed skills and knowledge in designing inclusive learning programs that meet the specific needs of all learners
• An ability to work collaboratively and develop positive relationships within a Year Level Team, with other staff, students and parents/caregivers
• Demonstrate sound practices in Behaviour Management, student well-being and personal responsibility
• A dynamic educator who is committed to personal and professional learning to expand successful pedagogy

• Teachers Registration Certificate
• RRHAN-EC Certificate
• Working with Children’s Clearance
• First Aid Certificate / CPR Certificate
• Keeping Safe: Child Protection Curriculum Training Certificate (if available)
• Catholic Clearance (if available)
