Role Details

The Opportunity

Catholic Education South Australia is seeking an experienced senior leader to step into the role of Director - School Quality and Performance. This is your chance to shape educational excellence across more than 100 Catholic schools and lead system-wide impact aligned with our Towards 2027: Expanding Horizons and Deepening Practices strategy.

In this influential role, you will:

  • Lead the development and execution of a multi-year School Quality and Performance Strategy.
  • Drive improvement in teaching, learning, wellbeing, and inclusion across diverse educational settings.
  • Oversee a team of senior leaders across school performance, curriculum, diversity & inclusion, school improvement, and allied health.
  • Collaborate with school principals and leaders to strengthen accountability and performance outcomes.
  • Champion reforms to support Aboriginal students, students with disabilities, and vulnerable learners.
  • Represent CESA at state and national levels, influencing policy and practice for the benefit of all students.

About You

We are looking for a strategic leader with the ability to deliver results. You will bring deep experience, strong values, and a collaborative approach to everything you do.

To thrive in this role, you’ll need:

  • Extensive senior leadership experience in education.
  • A postgraduate qualification (Masters level or higher) in Education, Leadership, or a related field.
  • Expertise in strategic planning, data-informed decision making, and driving educational improvement.
  • Demonstrated success in leading diverse teams and managing complex, high-stakes initiatives.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills across a wide range of stakeholders.
  • A strong personal commitment to the Catholic faith and active participation in a Catholic parish community.
  • A passion for inclusion, equity, and ensuring every student has the opportunity to succeed.
