The Opportunity

St Joseph’s School Hectorville is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Education Support Officer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting teachers and fostering a positive learning environment for students. The permanent hours offered are:

• Monday, Wednesday and Friday
• 9:00am – 3:00pm
• 16.5 hours per week during 40 school term weeks

Some additional hours may be offered from time to time, depending on need and availability.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide support to teachers in delivering lessons, including preparing materials, managing classroom activities, and assisting students as needed.
• Support a safe, orderly, and successful learning environment through the implementation of behavioural management strategies.

About You

• Certificate III in School Based Education Support or equivalent

• Previous experience in supporting student learning in a school setting.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
