Role Details

The Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated Education Support Officer (Curriculum) to join our supportive and collaborative teaching and learning team. In this role, you will work closely with students, both individually and in groups, to enhance learning outcomes in areas such as EALD support, literacy, and numeracy. You will also support teachers in the implementation, evaluation, and student engagement of learning programs.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with the Inclusive Education Coordinator to adjust learning programs.
  • Assisting classroom teachers with modified learning programs for students with additional needs.
  • Collecting or preparing resources to support children's learning.
  • Providing supervision and support during excursions and incursions.
  • Assisting in the daily operations of the school.

This is a temporary, part-time position for 31.75 hours per week over 5 days, across 40 weeks of the school year. The contract will commence 21 July 2025 and conclude 12 December 2025.

About You

You are passionate about inclusive education and have experience in supporting student learning, particularly for those with diverse needs. You bring:

  • Experience in a similar role within an educational setting.
  • Experience with learning intervention programs such as Playberry.
  • A current Catholic Police Check or DCSI screening.
  • Certification in Responding to Risk of Harm, Abuse, and Neglect – Education and Care.
  • A valid First Aid Certification.
  • You are proactive, resourceful, and capable of building strong relationships with teachers and students alike.
