We are seeking a number of replacement teachers for commencement for Term 3 and Semester 2.   • Teacher of Chinese
    • Term 3 at 0.8 FTE
    • Middle Years and Year 10, Stage 2 Chinese Continuers and Stage 2 Chinese Background
  • Teacher of Science
    • Term 3 at 0.65 to 0.8 FTE
    • Stage 1 Biology, Year 9 and Year 10 Science
  • Teacher of HASS and English
    • Semester 2 at 0.5 to 0.6 FTE
    • Middle Years English and History
  • Teacher of Mathematics
    • Semester 2 at 0.6 to 0.7 FTE
    • Middle Years and Year 10 Mathematics

Key responsibilities:

  • Undertake the duties relating to the teaching of mixed ability classes.
  • Be on the creative edge of developments in education and curriculum.
  • Be proactive regarding educational initiatives within curriculum area.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the workings of the Australian Curriculum and its application to the designated subject area.
  • Enhance students’ learning with a variety of methodologies.
  • Provide students with positive feedback on performance that reinforces student achievement and focuses on improvement.
  • Be able to work with our Learning Management System, SEQTA.

The successful candidates will:

  • Be an engaging educator who prides themselves on being an effective communicator who can build meaningful relationships with students, peers and parents. 
  • Be a current registered teacher with the Teachers Registration Board of South Australia (TRBSA).
  • Have academic qualifications in the appropriate subject area.
  • Possess or be willing to obtain, a current Working With Children Check, First Aid Certificate (HLTAID012), and Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect – Education and Care training.
  • Support and attend College activities as required.
  • Be flexible and adaptable in their approach to work practices and management strategies.
  • Have an affinity with, and preparedness to support the Catholic ethos and Ignatian charism of the College.
