Role Details

Catherine McAuley School invites applications from passionate and dedicated OSHC Educators who would like to join our student focused, vibrant school community.

This casual position (hourly rate from $43.4493/hour) will commence ASAP.

Join our OSHC Team and provide safe, engaging, developmentally appropriate care for children outside regular school hours, as well as during school holidays (there are BSC, ASC and Vacation Care opportunities).

Part Time: Before School Care, After School Care and Vacation Care

Key Responsibilities

  • A willingness to support the Catholic ethos and Mercy Tradition of Catherine McAuley School
  • Support the provision of a safe, healthy and stimulating environment for children, offering individual support and comfort when required
  • Implement daily routines as directed
  • Assist in the preparation and implementation of an educational program and activities consistent with the National Quality Standard
  • Work collaboratively and effectively in a team environment

What You Need To Be Successful

  • Approved ACECQA Certificate III Level qualification – check list of approved qualifications via this link:   NQF approved qualifications list | ACECQA
  • Ability to work and communicate effectively with students, families and staff
  • Ability to work under supervision in accordance with the principles of the OSHC Quality Assurance process

The successful candidates will be expected to undergo our screening process, which includes a Working With Children Check, CESA e-screening + Applicant Declaration Form, First Aid and RRHAN-EC.
