Role Details

The Opportunity

We’re looking for an administrative assistant to join the team, you will work collaboratively with the wider team to provide administration support to various areas across the school to ensure the efficient and effective operation of our site.

Regular hours of work over 40 weeks a year during Term time only:

  • Wednesday's - 8.30pm - 3.00pm
  • Thursday's - 8.30am - 3.00pm
  • Friday's - 8.15am - 3.45pm

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet visitors, parents/caregivers, and students in a warm and professional manner.
  • Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries, directing calls to the appropriate staff members.
  • Provide administrative support to school staff as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records and update student information in the school database.
  • Collaborate with other administrative staff to ensure smooth operation of the site.
  • Utilise systems to effectively administer student and staff data and generate and distribute reports.
  • Accurately file documentation and records
  • Manage administrative duties to assist leadership, staff, learners, families, andmembers of the wider community.

About You

You’ll be a professional, efficient & timely communicator, with excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills. We’re looking for someone with:

  • Previous experience working as a administrative assistant
  • Experience in and enthusiasm for dealing with a diverse range of people in a friendly, engaging manner.
  • Excellent time management skills, the ability to manage a varied workload and work to deadlines.
  • The capability to work autonomously and within a team environment.
  • Have high attention to detail & demonstrate a high level of trust, integrity, and work ethic.

The successful candidates will be required to undergo our screening process, which includes a Working with Children Check, E-Screen, Applicant Declaration Form, First Aid and RRHAN.
