About the Opportunity 

We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time, permanent, Data and Reporting Coordinator to join Catholic Education South Australia. In this role, you’ll manage day-to-day data reporting requirements, collaborating with schools, administrators, and data teams to ensure accurate and clear data presentation. You’ll also validate data with schools and prepare submissions to government agencies and internal stakeholders. This is a key role in support the efficient reporting of student and staff data.

 

Your Responsibilities: 

  • Collaborate with Principals and Business Managers to ensure accurate data collection and reporting.
  • Lead the collection of reporting obligations that are required by Catholic Education South Australia
  • Lead the planning process for all reporting, updating instructions, procedures, and technical platforms to reflect Government changes.
  • Ensure communication is effective and all stakeholders are informed of the progress, deadlines, and any changes to procedures
  • Undertake regular review current systems to ensure compliance with the Government, Educational Agency or internal data collection standards.

 

About You:

You’ll be a great fit within the Data and Reporting Coordinator role if you have a customer centric approach, alongside excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

You’ll need:

  • Relevant Tertiary qualification.
  • Strong skills in Excel and Teams, along with proficiency in using a reporting system, such as PowerBI.
  • Experience in supporting a software application, such as Civica Education Suite, SEQTA or a similar school based system.
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to discuss data reporting issues and translate into business context.
  • Awareness of the Department of Education’s SchoolsHub and the Australian Curriculum, Assessment and Reporting Authority’s reporting requirements.
  • People Management skills.
