Role Details

Catherine McAuley School invites applications from passionate ESO Co-Educators (Curriculum) who would like to join our student focused, vibrant school community.

This fixed term-contract 32.5 hours per week position will commence ASAP and conclude on 12 December 2025.  Working hours are 8:30am to 3:30pm weekdays, during school terms only.

Key Responsibilities

  • A willingness to support the Catholic ethos and Mercy Tradition of Catherine McAuley School
  • Under teacher supervision create engaging learning materials and provide direct student support
  • Assist students individually and in small groups and demonstrated ability to support students with complex learning and behavioural needs
  • Have an understanding of inclusion and be able to implement learning programs which support the success of learners
  • Ability to work collaboratively with class teachers and wider staff

What You Need To Be Successful

  • Certificate IV in Education(or equivalent) and / or relevant demonstrated knowledge in a comparable role
  • Confidence and proficiency to assist students across literacy, numeracy and various subjects
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal and a proven ability to develop strong relationships with students and staff

The successful candidates will be expected to undergo our screening process, which includes a Working With Children Check, CESA e-screening + Applicant Declaration Form, First Aid and RRHAN-EC.
