Role Details

We have an exciting opportunity for an Early Years Teacher to join Rosary School. The position is full-time replacement teacher in an existing Reception class for the remainder of 2025. 

The successful candidate will join a dedicated and collaborative team of educators. We believe that you can be a great teacher regardless of your years of experience, so we encourage applications from those with experience or who have a passion and energy for their profession.

Key Responsibilities

  • Fulfil all requirements of the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers
  • Apply curriculum knowledge and teaching methods which facilitate successful learning.
  • Plan a comprehensive learning program in line with Australian Curriculum
  • Establish positive and effective relationships with students
  • Provide students with positive feedback on performance that reinforces student achievement and focuses on improvement
  • Work effectively as a member of the school team to actively and positively support school activities

About You:

  • Support the Catholic ethos and Dominican charism of Rosary School.
  • Demonstrated skills, knowledge and experience relevant to the role requirements
  • Create a positive and supportive classroom environment that encourages active participation and student growth.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and able to work collaboratively within a team environment and effectively teach students to achieve required learning outcomes
  • Establish and maintain collaborative and supportive professional relationships with students, staff and families.
