The Opportunity
 
We have an exciting opportunity for an Administration/Finance Officer to join Holy Family Catholic School!
 
This part-time, permanent role (35 hrs/week) position is perfect for an administrator with a customer service focus to support our school community.
 
Your responsibilities
  • Ensure that contact with the school is welcoming for all parents, students and visitors and assist them with their enquiries.
  • Provide administrative support as part of the front office team, including financial administration.
  • General receipting of payments including end of day reconciliation.
  • Assist with general debtor accounts enquiries
  • Act as a designated First Aid Officer and provide timely first aid assistance and personal care support for students. 
 
About You
You'll be a great fit within the Administration/Finance Officer role if you have excellent organisational skills, high attention to detail, and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
 
You'll need:
  • Willingness in administering first aid and personal care support.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to listen and communicate effectively and empathetically to achieve outcomes.
  • Ability to deal with sensitive information in a professional and confidential manner.
  • Ability to work independently, be self-motivated, proactive, and contribute to shared team efforts.
The successful candidate will be required to undergo our screening process, which includes a Working With Children Check (WWCC), E-Screen, Application Declaration Form and RRHAN-EC.

The successful applicant will be required to attain and maintain a:
  • Responding to Risks of Harm Abuse and Neglect – Education and Care (RRHAN-EC) certificate
  • First Aid Certificate – HLTAID012 Provide first aid in an education and care setting
  • Current acceptable Department of Human Services (DHS) Working With Children Check (WWCC)
