We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Diversity and Inclusion Teacher to join our Learning Diversity team on a full-time basis.
This role is instrumental in supporting students with a range of disabilities, including neurodiverse learners, through personalised, inclusive and strengths-based educational practices. Role Description
Actively support and contribute to the Catholic identity and Mercy traditions of St Raphael’s School.
Develop, implement and review in conjunction with the classroom teacher Personal Learning Plans (PLPs) tailored to the individual needs of students.
Apply neuro-affirming practices that support students’ identities and promote wellbeing, confidence, and engagement.
Collaborate and support classroom teachers, Education Support Officers, families, and external professionals to implement inclusive and consistent learning approaches.
Plan and deliver differentiated instruction that meets the diverse needs of learners, in line with the Australian Curriculum, ABELS Curriculum, and NCCD requirements.
Actively participate in case meetings, progress monitoring, and regular documentation.
Contribute to the development of an inclusive school culture grounded in Catholic values.
Desirable: Additional training in disabilities and/or special education.
