Role Details

This is a wonderful opportunity to join a strong, committed staff team who are passionate about supporting children to achieve and grow as strong, capable members of the Antonio OSHC community.

We are seeking an Education Support Officer OSHC Educator who can work in consultation with the OSHC Director and staff at OSHC and Vac Care sessions for 14.5 - 22 hours per week 48 weeks of the year.

Your responsibilities

  • Work as a 'qualified' staff member of the OSHC and VacCare team to deliver a quality education program.
  • Supervise and engage positively with students to support positive learning and wellbeing outcomes.
  • Assist with food preparation for afternoon tea on rostered days.
  • Be team leader for a number of OSHC and Vac Care shifts.

About you

We are seeking an energetic and resourceful staff member who...

  • Supports and contributes to the ethos of our Catholic community
  • Holds an approved ACECQA qualification and/or demonstrated experience in a similar or comparative role i.e. Diploma or equivalent
  • Demonstrates the capability to work with students of diverse cultural and neurological backgrounds.
  • Has an understanding of My Time Our Place Framework and implementation.
  • Posseses excellent interpersonal and communication skills and proven ability to develop a strong positive rapport with students, staff and families.
