Role Details

We’re looking for an experienced administrator with great customer service to join the Catholic Education Office! You’ll be working in our Information and Communications Technology (ICT) team under the direction of the ICT Technical Services Manager to provide efficient and effective administrative support to the wider ICT team.

About the Role

You will:

  • Deliver accurate and timely administrative support to the ICT team.
  • Manage financial processes, including invoicing, reimbursements, purchase orders, and General Ledger Requests (GLRs).
  • Develop and maintain administrative systems and procedures to enhance efficiency and deliver high-quality outcomes.
  • Coordinate meetings, workshops, and events, including agendas, registrations, catering, and materials preparation.
  • Provide reception coverage and ensure visitors are signed in and out as required.
  • Arrange travel and accommodation bookings.

About You

  • Proven experience in administrative and financial support roles.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office and ability to quickly learn new systems.
  • Exceptional organisational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A commitment to customer service excellence and continuous improvement.
  • A team player who can also work independently with high initiative.

Fast forward to November 2024 and Catholic Education SA (CESA) is delighted to announce its 100th certified HALT teacher; Penny Bateman, from Xavier College, Gawler Belt campus. Penny, who holds the position of English Curriculum Leader, began her teaching career in 2021 and started her HALT certification this year. Receiving HALT certification means that Penny will now be able to mentor colleagues in the process and provide expert guidance on evidence-based teaching practices while fostering professional growth within her department.
