Our secondary schools manage their own enrolments so you should contact the school in which you are interested to find out what you need to do. All schools conduct enrolment conversations with parents/carers.

Some secondary schools have waiting lists for enrolments so parents/carers should contact schools early to check when enrolment applications are due.

What information do I need to provide at enrolment?

Parents/carers will need to complete an enrolment application, supplied by the school.

You are also required to present the following documents or copies for the enrolment process:

  • birth certificate or extract
  • latest school report and/or reference from previous schools
  • baptismal certificate
  • any Court order or related information regarding custody of child
  • documentation relating to special needs (any reports, action plans, assessments etc)
  • letter of support/reference from the Parish Priest / Minister of Religion

What about children with special needs?

Parents/carers of children with special needs should approach the desired school at least a year in advance to discuss their needs.
