Chris Catalano, PE Coordinator at the Nazareth Catholic College Primary campus, received the 2015 South Australia School Ambassador of the Year Award for his dedication to the development of sport at Nazareth. As a result, the students at Nazareth were lucky enough to have Gary Putland from the Adelaide Strikers men’s team and Megan Schutt and Sarah Coyte from the women’s team visit the school. Nazareth was the only South Australian school chosen to receive this honour. The students had a Q&A session, played a match against them and participated in skills clinics.
