Students embrace new learning space

The students at School of the Nativity, Aberfoyle Park are delighted with their newly refurbished learning facilities which opened for the start of Term 3 – here’s what some of them had to say:

Hunter D – Our new classroom is really big!

Ben B – I like the ottomans to sit on.

Orlando – We have circle tables.

Ivy – Our classroom seems much bigger than before.

Jensen- The bag racks are way better in blocks.

Ciara – Our classroom even has its own library.

Lily B – I love that we have new furniture in our classroom.

Naksh – The cupboards have trays in them, and they are also whiteboards.

Saifaan – We have TV screens in our classroom.

Mackenzie – I like that the bags are in the classroom and the new circle tables.

Scarlett T – There are lots of drawers and cupboards.

The Bartram building includes learning spaces for Reception-Year 2 students and rooms for Japanese and Visual Art classes.

“The students and staff just love this space and our students are so excited to find new ways of using this beautiful environment for learning,” says school Principal, Erica Dixon.

“Our sincere thanks and gratitude to Brown Falconer Architects and Akira Builders for helping us to create this wonderful new space.”
