On Wednesday March 17, 2021, our St Patrick’s School, Mansfield Park’s vibrant multicultural community came together to celebrate two important occasions close to our hearts: St Patrick’s Day and Harmony Week.
Fr Long Hai Nguyen celebrated Mass where we thanked God for bringing us together at St Patrick’s School. Andrew Chinn was our special guest for the day, and he helped us celebrate our uniqueness, our connection and our diversity through song and dance.
The school grounds were full of colour and excitement as parents, students, staff members, playgroup families and friends proudly paraded in their cultural and colourful clothing.
The theme for the day was “Everybody Belongs” and together we celebrated our diversity and inclusivity, which shapes who we are at St Patrick’s School.
Aaliyah, Year 11 student at Nazareth Catholic College has successfully been providing sustainable sanitary wear for girls in Korogocho, Kenya as part of her inspirational ‘In2 Eradicating Period Poverty’ Project.
