Here is a list of organisations that may be able to help children, young people and adults during this time and beyond. All these services are confidential and free.

Wellbeing Hub

This is a space for educators, parents and students to build safe, inclusive and connected school communities that promote wellbeing and learning. It is part of the Australian Student Wellbeing Framework.

Kids Helpline

Kids Helpline is an Australian telephone and online counselling service specifically for young people aged between 5 and 25.  It is free, private and confidential.

Parenting SA

Parenting SA is a South Australian government program, providing the community with quality information on raising children, including free parenting seminars and guides.

Lifeline

Lifeline is a non-profit organisation that provides free, 24-hour Telephone Crisis Support service in Australia. Volunteer Crisis Supporters provide suicide prevention services, mental health support and emotional assistance, not only via telephone but face-to-face and online.

Beyond Blue

Beyond Blue is an Australian independent non-profit organisation working to address issues associated with depression, suicide, anxiety disorders and other related mental disorders.

The Black Dog Institute

The Black Dog Institute is dedicated to understanding, preventing and treating mental illness. We are about creating a world where mental illness is treated with the same level of concern, immediacy and seriousness as physical illness; where scientists work to discover the causes of illness and new treatments, and where discoveries are immediately put into practice through health services, technology and community education.
