This unit of inquiry will allow students to develop their understanding of the key elements of a sentence by investigating the geographical world around them, with a focus on using visual images. The unit will also give students opportunities to increase their geographical awareness by observing and studying a range of information and narrative texts.

Australian Curriculum Lessons

In this Unit of Work, students will investigate a range of picture storybooks written by Mem Fox and create a range of artistic murals to represent their understandings of the text as well as their favourite pages and characters from the texts.
