The whole school community celebrated the morning with an assembly and a morning tea.
Literacy Coordinator Louise Moody was very pleased to showcase the school’s approach to literacy.
“I was delighted to share the success stories of students and families with the Governor who is an inspiration for many in our community,” she said.
Principal Chris Platten notes greater student engagement and progress in literacy over the last four years. “The success of the programs, which were introduced in 2013, is clearly visible in the engagement of the children and the progress that they make,” he said.
