Explore our learning online resources
Schools remain open for students who need to attend.
Whether students are learning at school or at home, they will be doing the same work.
Those students physically attending school will be undertaking online learning supported and supervised by school staff.
Our schools will adhere to the social distancing and other requirements that are in place.
Don’t worry! Your school will provide help if you are having trouble accessing online tools and lessons.
You’re not expected to be a teacher – your role is to support your child and to ensure that they connect with the online learning being provided by your school.
Don’t feel that you need to plan lessons, or schedule learning. Simply follow the advice of your child’s teacher.
You can read more about how to develop a good home routine.
Do not worry about your child regressing in school. Every single child is in the same situation and they all will be okay. When we are back to normal routines, our teachers will meet them where they are at.
While it may be tempting to plan your child’s study routine, or pressure them to work harder, or to mandate set hours for learning – don’t go over the top.
If you are concerned about how your child is coping with this new learning space – contact your child’s teacher.
