We have an exciting opportunity for a Qualified OSHC Educator position to join St Columba College. An OSHC Educator at St Columba College, provides safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate care for children outside regular school hours—before and after school, as well as during holidays. Their role supports children's wellbeing, learning, and social development in a relaxed, play-based environment.
Your Responsibilities:
Demonstrate a commitment to uphold and contribute to the Anglican and Catholic ethos of the College.
Support the provision of a safe, healthy and stimulating environment for children, offering individual support and comfort when required.
Work with groups of children with particular needs, under supervision.
Assist in the preparation of program planning for individual children and groups while contributing verbally to the program.
Work collaboratively and effectively in a team environment.
You’ll need:
Approved ACECQA Certificate 3 level qualification. (List of approved qualifications at:https://www.acecqa.gov.au/qualifications/nqf-approved).
High level interpersonal skills to interact positively with the school community and be a positive role model and professional representative.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and able to work collaboratively within a team environment.
The successful candidates will be required to undergo our screening process, which includes a Working with Children Check, E-Screen, Applicant Declaration Form and RHAN.
